Wellness Works kicked off 2020 with a new LinkedIn page to better connect Southeast Michigan Businesses with the tools necessary to develop a comprehensive wellness strategy and encourage healthy habits in the workplace.
To celebrate, Wellness Works gave away two Fitbit Versa 2 smart watches. The first Fitbit was given at the Detroit Policy Conference (DPC) to Brianna Anderson, Community Outreach Coordinator for the Better Business Bureau. Brianna engaged with the program’s booth at DPC and followed Wellness Works’ LinkedIn page.
The second Fitbit was awarded to Elliott Duda, Retail Practice Manager at Tier One Executive Search. Elliott shared a few words on how his company practices workplace wellness to be entered into the Fitbit giveaway.
Tier One Executive Search practices workplace wellness by providing access to an on-site gym, standing desks, and mobility products so staff can avoid a stagnant, sedentary workday. The team regularly swaps healthy recipes and participates in team walks outside on Fridays.
